Rug Manufacturing Team Member

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our rug manufacturing team. Principle duties are to ensure all orders are cut, checked before edging, edged either with a whipping yarn or a border (sewn over the edges) then labelled and despatched in accordance with our quality standards.

This is a physical job as you will be working with carpet on a daily basis, but we do have colleagues onsite who are always available to assist when lifting is required.

The ideal candidate will have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to follow all instructions given by the department team leader to achieve targets, follow set procedures and ensure they work in accordance with our health and safety policy. They will be able to maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment and be able to enthusiastically assist in making ongoing improvements to goods and services offered to our customers.  

Yes, it would be an advantage to have commercial sewing experience, or used at home a sewing machine but, as full training is given onsite, a candidate with good attention to detail and a positive team spirit will be considered for this rewarding role.

Working hours: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with half an hour lunch break.  The company does not open at weekends, but you may be offered Saturday morning work if the department is busy or a stock-take is required.

Holidays: Starting with 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Interior Design Telesales Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and results oriented Telesales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in driving sales growth by proactively contacting existing and potential new clients, identifying their needs, and effectively communicating the value of our products and services. You will be responsible for generating leads, converting them into qualified opportunities, and ultimately contributing to our company's revenue goals. 

The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, possess a strong understanding of the sales process, be able to quickly build rapport and establish positive relationships with existing and potential new clients and be passionate about creating beautiful and functional spaces.

Responsibiities will include sales target achievement; outbound calling as well as answering inbound calls and enquiries; lead generation and qualification; sales process management; understanding and communicating our products and services showing value proposition; market research; working collboratively with other teams. A full job specification is available on request. 

Ideally, candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a telesales or inside sales role, preferably within the home improvement, design or related industry. They should have excellent communication skills, including active listening, persuasive speaking and the ability to adapt communication style to different personalities, ultimately helping build and maintain strong relationships with clients over the telephone. 

Candidates should have excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. They should be good problem solvers, being able to identify clients' needs, address their concerns and offer appropriate solutions. This would include resilience; being able to handle rejection while remaining positive and adapting to changing sales strategies.

Candidates should be proficient in using standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite) and have experience using CRM systems to track client interactions and manage sales pipelines. They should also maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times. 

A basic understanding of interior design principles, styles and the overall process would be highly desirable; a passion for design would be a plus. 

Working hours: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with half an hour lunch break.

Credit Controller / Export Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated credit controller to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for day-to-day credit control, export assistance, banking and adhoc duties as required. A full job specification is available on request. 

Ideally, candidates should have excellent communication skills, time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks. 

Candidates should be proficient in using standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite) and have experience using Sage and CRM systems. They should also maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times.
